pretty.

The 2011 senior season is in full swing!! It has been crazy fun and I’ve had the most gorgeous girls ever in to see me. I’m pretty sure I did not look like this when I was in High School.

Serious.

baby, baby, baby…

Well, I was hoping for some baby GIRLS so I could use some of my new hats and I have had a string of them! It has been so much fun playing!! I have to share a few of my favorites.

Meet Miss Izabella. I love her cheeks and her gorgeous lips. I thought it was going to be a tough session because when she came she was wide awake but after a little extra feeding a a little bit of walking and rocking, she was OUT:)

This sweet little lady made the best model. She slept the entire time and didn’t make a peep- oh and the best part— she’s SO CUTE!!!

And finally the TEENY TINIEST little buddy I’ve hever photographed. Weighing in at a whopping 4lbs, I couldn’t wake this little one up if I tried. I wish I could have kept her for a few days just to snuggle and take her picture:)

Love.

I do.

10 years ago, I married my best friend. It was such a special day and even though I loved every minute– it went by SO fast and it’s really hard for me to remember. I do have pictures, but just a set of ‘formal’ images and snapshots. Maybe that’s why it’s so extra special for me to have the responsibility of capturing wedding days for other couples. I want to make sure they remember every detail and all of the emotions that surround them on the happiest day of their life.

Meet Jeff and Danielle. UM- GORGEOUS?? No they aren’t models (but they probably could be!)

I loved her Badgley Mischka shoes!

The first look– they were SO cute. I LOVE, Love….

Jeff and Danielle have 3 boys– this is the youngest (yes Danielle just had a baby– it’s ok to hate her)

The girls. (being beautiful must have been a requirement for this wedding)

The ‘bling’

The first dance– SO HAPPY.

Next up is Lindsey and Ian. Their wedding was outdoors at the Gainey Center in Owatonna. What a fabulous venue! I loved all the little details Lindsey choose– from the custom designed shoes, to the custom jewelry and birdcage veil. It was all just pefection.

Getting ready

The happy little family

The guys

And the beauuuutiful girls

The kiss

We had to get a picture with the cool hats:)

Happily Ever After…

Next is Matthew and Nicole. They couldn’t be cuter if they tried!! You could literally SEE the love. I adored the colors Nikki chose and her dress is something I would totally pick if I were getting married again (LOVED it).

Their favorite thing to do as a couple is stop at the Blast to eat Ice Cream– so we did:)

Sunset images are my favorite and this is no exception.

AWWWWW. I just know all of these couples will have so many years of happiness ahead of them. Thank you all again, for trusting me to capture your days. XOXO…

cause i’ve been busy…

I haven’t been able to update since vacation. It was SO wonderful. The weather was great, the kids had a blast and I relaxed and didn’t get online for whole week. I’m paying for it though because ever since I returned I’ve been SWAMPED. Here is just a bit of what I’ve been up to…

CRAZINESS! Add a few weddings to this mix and you get one busy photographer. More to share very soon!:):)Hope you all are enjoying the last few weeks of summer!!

it’s magic!

I really am not working while on vacation. Hopefully right now, I am laying on the beach watching my boys play in the water. I realized I can set my blog to update at a later time (duh, right?) so I planned ahead because I have so much to share. This time of year is NUTSO. I have maybe 3 weekday appointments at the end of August left and a few in September. Don’t wait if you want a fall session- things are filling up FAST!!

ANYWAY- back to the fun stuff.  I have been having a BLAST with all of the 2011 seniors.  How gorgeous is this image?  I love the sun and clouds.  I did add a little bit of saturation but honestly not much at all- this is pretty close to straight out of camera!  YUM!

Caity:

Kacie (again, pretty much straight out of camera) and YES she totally got INTO the lake with her prom dress on:)Gotta love it!

I have more seniors to share BUT in true, Jennifer Nace style– I had to show some off a cute dressed up BABY

This is my favorite. At ONE there is nothing better than your fingers and your favorite lovey.

Baby Dimples — Owatonna Newborn Photographer

This little man came to visit me at just 9 days new. I really do fall in love with all of the babies I photograph, but this guy COMPLETELY stole my heart. I think it’s because he has red hair and dimples just like my little guy, Aidan. Aidan is 6 now, and I don’t have newborn photos of him like this and it makes me oh so very sad. I can barely remember him being that tiny! (sigh)

Cutest thing EVER, right??

LOVE him.

Obviously his Mom and Dad kinda like him too- so they didn’t want to leave him with me. BUMMER!

and if you haven’t said “AWWW” already, I bet you will now!!

YEP- his Daddy is a HERO!!

On another note- I will be out of the office until August 2nd. I will have email access but I’ll be enjoying some time with my family so unless it’s urgent, I won’t be returning messages until I get home!:)THANKS!!
