Just a FYI- I’ll be on vacation from July 3rd-12th and will be back in the office on July 13th. I will have limited email access if you need anything, however! I’ll try to take lots of pictures of my boys this week so you can see all the fun they had! I know it will be a blast! It’s nice now that they are a little older and we can do more! Tomorrow night we’re going to their first Twins game! YAY! (we’ll see how long they actually sit there LOL).
ANYWAY- before I leave I want to get caught up on some sneak peeks for some FABULOUS families that have been in this past week!
Meet Brandon- a SUPER sleepy sweet little bubba- only a week old here. HE was SO easy, I honestly could have played all day:

LOVE

His Big Sister just turned two- and she gave me a run for my money! It wasn’t her best of days, but she made up for it by being SOOO darn cute (and even though the session seemed a little hectic we got some great shots)

A little bribe with a sucker and we even managed to get a few shots with baby brother!!

So sweet!
The ‘H’ family came in last week as well and WOW- what a good looking bunch! The kids were SOO much fun, they were perfect little models. Mom had the cutest outfits picked out and a lot to choose from so it was great:

Little girls love it when I get out my fan!

And my FAVORITE image from the session– LOVE LOVE this:

It makes me smile every time I look at it!
Thanks so much guys for all the fun. I hope you liked your sneak peek! HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!
….ahh, so many special couples have been in lately. Sometimes I really can’t believe that I have this job! Weddings are STRESSFULL (I mean, you can’t exactly redo the session if something goes wrong) but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Being a part of one of the biggest days in someones life is just something I can’t put into words.
Here are a few couples still looking forward to their big day. I can’t wait, I know we’ll have SO much fun:

My cousin Mindy and her Finance’ Derik came back for a quick outdoor session. Their wedding is coming right up! SO excited:

Mindy’s Daughter Alexis- (who is my God Daughter and is soo grown up already (sigh))

And here are a few sneak peeks from last weekend’s wedding. Jessica and Clint were FABULOUS. I felt like I’ve been a friend for years.
Just before seeing each other for the first time that day:

The girlies:

The guys:

Jessica looked gorgeous!!!

And so did their daughters

I just LOVE the smile on Gracie’s face when she saw this little baby–

Husband and Wife!

Ok so they were not at all interested in me or my wild ideas. They didn’t want to go outside for pictures- which is fine– it’s their day BUT I did manage to sneak in a few quick fun shots:

First Dance and time to have some FUN!

Thank you again, guys for having me be a part of your day. It was perfect! I hope we can meet up sometime when I’m NOT working and have a drink together
Have fun on the Honeymoon!!
Their reception was funny! They are a wild crowd but SO much fun….
…my first memories of music are the ones with me dancing in my bedroom to my Michael Jackson record. I STILL remember being at my Grannie’s house when I saw MJ do the moonwalk for the first time. For Christmas that year I got a Michael Jackson Barbie doll. My Mom always told me I should keep him in the box because I’d loose stuff if I played with him and SOMEDAY it would be worth something. I couldn’t help it though, I LOVED that thing. He gave the best Barbie concerts (he put Jem and the Holograms to shame). It wasn’t long until I lost his shoe and silver glove. Mom was right, again. When I heard the news that MJ had passed away, it made me sad. Sad because I have so many childhood memories that include Michael and his music. Luckily though, his music will live on. It’s so neat that we always have these special treasures that remind of us of days past. It made me really appreciate MY job. I provide memories for people, too. I feel so lucky that all the fabulous people I work with will someday, look back on the portraits I create and remember those innocent eyes, those chubby toes, or the way she smiled at 6 months old….

Isn’t she sweet? Hard to believe it has already been 6 months. She stole my heart the first time I met her and she still has it….
Thank you Michael for the wonderful Memories— and thank YOU ‘P’ family for letting me be a part of yours.
I swear, God is torturing me lately– all these cute little babies and I can’t keep them!?
Today I had these 2 precious twins come and visit me. A boy and girl and both PERFECT. They slept the whole time! It couldn’t have been better. I did ask Mom and Dad if they wanted BOTH of the babies- I mean, they have 2 they could let me keep one, right? LOL.

Here’s the little buddy

And here’s the princess

YESTERDAY I had a sweet little 3 month old who is actually only 5lbs right now because she was born very early! She’s home now and is doing great! She wasn’t as excited to sleep and pose for pictures as the fresh little twins were but she did AWESOME with a little patience-

It looks like she was having fun- even gave me a little smile!

And just a quick peek at another cutie- this little man is ONE- his birthday is today! I loved being a part of his first year:

How many times can I say, “I LOVE MY JOB!”
Have a great weekend! More sneak peeks coming soon!
…that is why I love photographing Children. You can literally SEE the innocence in their eyes. It makes my heart melt….
Here are a few sneak peeks for this week. I’ve had some CUUUUTTEE kiddos in–
The freshest- Miss Amilya- was only a week old!

Don’t call child services– she was only a few inches off a beanbag

Miss Mia was only a few days older- just every bit as sweet (honestly, I wanted to steal her….)

Little Miss Sierra is visiting all the way from Arizona. At 2.5 months she was such a good girl!!

Emma is extra special because she is my Cousin’s little girl!! I don’t get to see her that often but she was SOOO much fun (and had a LOT of energy- just like my boys!)

And last but not least- my niece Jenna. She turned 2 last month and I haven’t officially done her 2 year portraits but I did snap a few outside the other day— LOVE her.

Hope you all are doing well! I’ll be in touch soon with your galleries
Have a great day!!
I’ve had a few super fun families in lately and I had to share…
