It’s been a busy few weeks!! Like I mentioned before, I’ve had a string of newborn boys in lately. They have all been sooo sweet. Mr Cooper was no exception. He seemed so big and chunky at almost 3 weeks old! He fought us for awhile, but with a little patience we were able to get him to sleep.

We had to get a few shots with the little buddy and his older sisters and brother. Aren’t they all SO. DARN. CUTE!?

Loved him.

FYI I will be out of town until March 15th. I will have limited email access, but unless it’s urgent I won’t reply until I return! My husband and I are going to VEGAS to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary……annnnd I just happened to book our trip the same week as WPPI (www.wppionline.com) CAN NOT wait to shop at the tradeshow!:)

Miss Avery

I’ve known Avery’s Mom and Dad for years. I have fond memories of driving around with her Dad and a bunch of friends listening to Tracy Chapmans ‘Fast Car’ song. I think we MAY have been breaking the law at the time, but I digress…

With such a wonderful Mommy and Daddy, it’s no wonder Miss Avery is such a happy girl.

Isn’t she a honey?? 6 months is such a great age. They think I am FUNNY and they can’t run away from me;)

DUCK DAYS

If you’ve thought about getting cute pictures of your kids, now is the time– introducing DUCK DAYS limited edition session.

The set will be spring themed but not exactly like this. Very VERY though:)

Sessions are 15-20 minutes and you will have access to a gallery of images to view and order online within the week.

Teeny Tiny

Meet baby River. He was such a perfect, tiny little pumpkin. I wish every baby was this easy to photograph. He slept the entire time– except for a few seconds when I put him in this:

He’s so TINY! I just wanted to smooch him… (would that be weird if I started kissing people babies? )

It’s so hard to believe that my little men were smaller than that when they were born!! WHY, WHY, WHY do the grow so fast? My youngest is going to be 4 in a few weeks. All of these cute newborns are reminding me how much I miss them being so little.

Speaking of newborns, I have had TWO more little guys in last week. I’ve had 5 newborn sessions in the last month and they have all been boys. Who is going to break the streak??

Miles Smiles

Today, I had the absolute PLEASURE of meeting sweet little baby Miles. He sure was beautiful, squishy, sleepy….and just plain perfect. There are so many cute images from this session that I can’t wait to share, but for now….here are a few to tide Mom and Dad over.

I know I’ve said it a million times, but I feel so lucky to have this job. I left the studio today feeling happy. It’s always so nice to make new friends.

Happy Birthday Dear Amelia…

Sometimes when I think about it, I get choked up. I honestly just feel SO blessed that people trust me to capture all of these special moments. I love all the kids I photograph, but there are some, that you just can’t help but get extra attached to.
Amelia is one of those special clients. It seems like yesterday that she came in, just a teeny tiny newborn. Her little face was just perfection. I fell in love right there:
